By signing up for our services the customers agrees to the following:

The customer will receive pick up once a week during a pre-agreed upon pick up time. Any changes to this time are welcome provided we receive at least 1 hour advanced notice.

Captain Laundry is not responsible for the customer failing to meet the scheduled pick-up and delivery time. If the customer does miss their time, we will make every attempt to deliver clean clothes at soon as possible. It is the customer's responsibility to make sure that our employees are able to gain access to their laundry.

We run a very tight schedule and our drivers rarely have the luxury of waiting for clients who are late. Punctuality is a must. Please allow a small window around your delivery time. Due to traffic we may be up to 10 minutes late. If we are later than 10 minutes and a customer must leave, their time will not be considered missed.

Captain Laundry will not be responsible for laundry left unattended.

Depending on the plan the customer chooses there is a limit of either 10, 15, 20, or 25 pounds per week. Any pounds over this limit will be charged $1.10 per pound. You will be notified each week of any overages and will be charge monthly for the sum of these charges.

Captain Laundry is not responsible for any changes that may occur during normal washing such as slight shrinking and gradual fading. We are also not responsible for damage from a garment that bleeds the first time it was washed if we were not informed that it was new. Captain Laundry is also not responsible for any damage that is done to the laundry during normal washing such as buttons falling off. We do handle the clothes very delicately but manufacturer defects, or weak material can cause damage that cannot be prevented.

Captain Laundry is not responsible for any non-washable items (i.e. dry cleaning only) that are put in your laundry bag. We will conduct a search of your pockets prior to washing; however, we are not responsible for any items left in pockets that may cause damage to your clothes. Any items found in pockets will be returned to you with your clothes.

Inventory sheets are available per request that should be filled out by the customer. While not required, we request that you fill out theses sheets so that there is never any discrepancy to the items in your bag. You will be notified immediately of any discrepancy that is discovered. We will not proceed with washing without resolving said discrepancy with you.
